"A wonderful, cute, adorable performance” is coming to Edinburgh Fringe 2025!
Hàlo everyone!
We at Up & About headquarters are delighted to announce that we will be spending the month of August in Edinburgh, performing Heebie Jeebies as part of the world’s biggest arts festival- The Edinburgh Fringe Festival!
Heebie Jeebies has found the perfect Fringe home at the Institut Francais Ecosse, and we are over the moon to have been chosen as the venue’s family and children’s event this year following their ‘Vive le Fringe’ callout for acts. This is the ideal place for us not only location-wise (as it’s right on the Royal Mile we couldn’t ask for better!) but also to reflect the nature of the show. This multilingual show is a celebration of nature and a reminder of the power of kindness, which couldn’t be more relevant at this tumultuous time!
The show is partly francophone and so this venue will highlight us to a key demographic, and the multilingual heart of the show aligns with the institute’s beliefs of people and cultures coming together in patience and generosity and finding new ways to communicate and grow together. This is also representative of the Fringe as a whole, which brings together artists and audiences from across the globe.
Although company members have performed at previous fringes, this is Up & About’s first time as a company to bring a show to the Fringe and we are keen to plant this seed with Edinburgh Fringe audiences at the Institut Francais.
Get your tickets ASAP, this is not to be missed!
‘Heebie Jeebies’ will be playing at Venue 168: Salle Emilienne Moreau-Evrard at French Institute in Scotland on the Royal Mile at 11am daily (except 11th, 18th)
